What isn’t normal about raw meat? Every carnivore and omnivore on the face of the earth eats it. Man at one point ate it as well. Its what made it possible for our brains to evolve from what they used to be to now.

Yes its really safe, people need to stop think of dogs in the sense of humans. The average person will NOT do well with raw or very undercooked meat in their system. Why? Because our gastric acids are not suitable for handling them. Dogs are still animals, they aren’t the wolves they used to be but they are still carnivores capable and more suite to digesting raw meat and bones.

If feeding raw feeding was honestly as dangerous as some people have been led to believe or would like to make others think there would not be a raw fed dog, cat, ferret or any OTHER carnivorous animal alive on the face of the earth.

whats "not normal" about raw meat?

What do you think dogs in the wild eat?

What do you think domestic dogs ate before we invented commercialized food?

Ive talked to many raw feeders and they all have good comments.

I made the switch to raw a few days ago. I wish Id have done it sooner.. my dog sometimes licks his feet obsessivly.. I’ve not noticed ANY feet licking since the switch.

I’ve been feeding raw meat and tripe to my dogs for around 30 yrs. The dogs regularly live to at least their mid-teens, so yes, it is safe. Why wouldn’t it be? It’s a dog’s natural diet.
Far safer than feeding 100% processed food which is what commercial dog foods are.

Well, you should probably keep the meat refrigerated for a week. If you do that it will be very safe to feed your dog, although cooked meat is better

its not neccesarely safe, but its fine to give very few little pieces.

Of course its safe! What exactly do you want to know?

- Can you feed raw chicken bones? YES
- Does my dog need raw veggies and fruits? NO
- Does my dog need to eat organs? YES
- Does my dog need to eat bones? YES
- these questions could go on forever….!

Ive been feeding raw for a few months now and have never had a problem with it. Many more people on here feed raw too with no problems.
